Little white mouse

Little white mouse !!!
I have this little white mouse, I keep him in a cage,
When he runs round that little wheel he goes right in a rage,
He has some straw and cotton wool he uses it as his bed,
He eats some nuts and barley and sometimes he likes bread,
I call him little big ears cos that is what he's got,
I've had him for a while now the best thing I have bought,
I sit and watch him for hours and hours until I fall asleep,
But just the other day there I had myself a greet,
I left his cage open so he can run around my flat,
But by the time I came home he was inside the bloody cat !!!!
