Liz Flores (working title)

by Majezty C. Navarro
(Redondo Beach, CA)

My First Love, how are you?
The memories of you have slept, now they have awoken
What in the right of my mind formed the idea to dream of you?
Perhaps it is because for years, I have longed to replace you
Last night my mind showed it cannot be done.
You are the One I loved and lost
the scar upon my Heart that formed but still hurts
Move on? I've tried, but this is where my road ends.
A woman of your own category,
I should not attempt to place others with or above you
I miss you Liz and forever will you be my First Love...
