I still remember all the times we shared.
Everyday showing you just how much I cared.
I still remember your beautiful face.
Your voice like a sweet melody a musician would chase.
Your eyes like a thousand stars an astronomer could embrace.
I still remember how lucky I felt holding you in my arms.
Like a kid who finally caught the leprechaun from lucky charms.
And I still remember how it all faded away.
You said it was over but one more night you wanted me to stay.
I held you all night crying I couldn't sleep.
Oh how one wound could cut so deep.
They say time heals but I'm stuck in a moment.
