Laying in bed, thinking where you are?
You say you’re at your friends, but you’ve lied before.
I caught you smoking pot.
Broke my heart.
You said you would stop, but deep down
I knew you never would.
Here I lie in bed, mind racing.
The only thing on my mind
Is your safety.
I give you independence
But your independence worries me.
I just want my little boy back.
He seems so far away
But I can still see him.
Smiling back at me.
