Love Asks a Hand to Hold

by Jason Janse Van Rensburg
(Pretoria, South Africa)

Say it and I'll do it ,
ask me and I'll prove it,
love me and we will be forever

Perfection, the reflection of your face in my eye
Loving is merely a start of you and I

Hearts racing, blood pacing
Your mere existence makes me excited
Pearls from the ocean riss in your eyes
Waves of immortal love runs through your veins

Fingers touching with a small remark
Eyes clashing in a glimpse
Cupid came out of the dark

In this world only one thing stays
And until you find it in your ways
I will be waiting all of my life
For a kiss in the rain
and our souls to collide as one.
