Love on Earth

You are my earth.
I was an alien in search
of some new life:
sane life.

I met you
then i became to know you--
Only to grow to like you.
The more I liked you,
the more I needed you.
Everyday I have to have you.

You saw me,
that I was a little different.
It didn't matter to you:
In fact you thought it was cute, but kind of sad.

So you brought me back from a loveless planet--
my eternally hopeless state,
and gave me your heart
which helped find mine.

I love you Earthling:
you've given me a home.
And I will never go back from whence I came--

Now that I found real love now that I found you here on Earth.
