From the day I met you
You grabbed my heart
Without words or even a look
You stole my heart and I knew it was forever
Did I know we were going to be together
No it never crossed my mind not ever

I look at you now and say
I thank god above for that very special day
You and I were meant to be
Like the leaves that hang on a tree
You make my heart pound
Without you I would not be around

As it is now years later
I wouldn't trade you for the world
For I found that special someone that makes my eyes twirl
