My mother was my life
I miss her gentle ways
Sometimes it feels like torture
On the most difficult of days
The times we spent together
I’ll cherish in my heart
The fond memories last forever
We seldom were apart
As I’m gazing up into sky
I ask myself over and over again Mam Why?
I wonder if she can hear me cry
I wish to god she did not die
