Manners

by Parrish Lantern
(Kent, United Kingdom)

No,"We hadn't heard from the Lizard"
For many a long, long day
not since that row with the Wizard
and the shouting & calling of names

So very very rude was the lizard
With words as black as tar
Oh, and the anger seen on the wizard
Lit up everything from afar

So now not a word from the reptile
not been seen for many a day
& wizard's walking around with a big smile
and a handsome new leather case.
