Master Peace

by R.M. Brandon

What of gods and soil does bring
The need for bloodshed
From the human things

When far above the angels scream
As one by one the fallen they must bring

Tis no light in the freedom ring
Only crimson stains
as blood flows from the things

The rain will fall washing it away
Yet inside the land
forever its memory will stay

Why question the belief of another
Will we ever simply learn
to love each other

In the midst of a masterpiece we stand
Blinded by paper titles upon land
