MORNING OFFERING

THE MORNING OFFERING

The jasmine that grows on the outer wall
Heavy is its sent in the morning light
Its blossoms woken from the lonely night
Mists of dew from the morning fall.

As the morning sun breaks over the hill
Neighboring blossoms release their fragrance
Red breast robins make their grand entrance
Sounds of morning break the silence still.

As the leaves are gently stirred
By the blowing morning breeze
Fragrant air moves in with ease
A lonely bird’s call now heard.

Mid day will burst with life soon
O blue bird dance on for love
Sing your song O handsome dove
Glorious is nature’s harmonistic tune.

In concert morning glories trumpeted
They sounded in the morning offering
With golden bees from a far arriving
Visiting each alter as they pollinated.

As nature reaches her morning climax
With wonderful amazement life found
Heaven to earth, earth to heaven bound
No time for worry, take time to relax.
