My Dragon

by Megan Edwards
(UK)

Steaming,smoking and sizzling,
Eyes are pools of fire.
Scales like an alligator,
Horns made of gold.

Gargles,groans and grinds,
Down the traps of steel.
That enclose him in my castle,
So that only I can see.

Horrible,horrific and hungry,
He begins to roar.
Until I satisfy him,
With another boar.

Flips,flaps and flies,
Only to the roof.
He cannot go any further,
Because I am in the room.
