MY LIFE WITHOUT MY WIFE

by IRWIN M. DRESNER
(SYOSSET, NY USA)

GOD YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT IS ON EARTH BY MYSELF.
I CANNOT GO THRU EACH DAY WITHOUT TEARS IN MY EYES.
THE NIGHTS ARE PAINFUL AND I DO NOT WANT TO WAKE UP.
I TRULY DO NOT HAVE A SOUL IN THIS WORLD AS I GROW OLD.
I FEEL THAT I MUST END THIS THING CALLED MY LIFE.
I CAN SUFFER NO LONGER.
I TRULY WILL NEVER HAVE ANYONE IN MY ARMS ANYMORE.
NOT SINCE I LOST THE ONE THAT I ADORE.
THE DAYS COME AND THE DAYS GO.
BUT MY GREAT GRIEF CONTINUES TO FLOW.

Sorry for your loss

Sorry for the loss of your wife and best friend. I lost my wife last year. Really don't know what to say. one day, one hour, one minute at a time.

The pain remains steady
by: Bill from Florida

My pain is steady. It is grinding my spirit to ashes. The love I had....it has seeped away from me, leaving me vacant of joy.
In reading your words, I feel your anguish, and only ask that you search everywhere for the peace that you may find in your happy memories. That will make you stay alive - to re-live, and smile.
