My Love Is Gone but Not Forgotten

by Daniel
(Kentucky, USA)

Have you ever felt like
all you had was gone?
That your heart was broken,
and you could not go on?

Have you ever really
wanted to live?
To begin your life,
so your tears would dry?

My life is a tunnel,
and she is light,
she made my smile,
so real, so bright.

When things got tough,
she was always there,
for once in my life,
someone did care.

she was a gift,
sent from above,
for the first time in my life,
I actually felt love.

she was like an angel,
sent to rescue me,
she was my everything,
my love, my destiny.

I stopped the sinning,
her love made me quit,
I never thought
I would stop doing it.

I have no idea,
what she found ,
but she never made me frown
no one else could see
what she had done to me.

She didn't care
about popularity,
she didn't choose looks
over personality.

she was the only one
who loved me for who I am,
she thought I was unique,
- she didn't want to be like them.

But now that she's gone,
the light has turned to darkness,
I am slowly fading.

Without her here,
I have no life,
only a friend,
and that friend is my life.

It has come back,
the pain, the sorrow,
I wish to see her tomorrow.

beautiful words
by: Tiffiney

Beautiful. Sorry you're sad. Sometimes our tragedies can turn into beautiful words. Like this poem.

I'm down the same path
by: Tony - Austin tx

She had it all with me,
I never did see her lie to me,
But once those instincts raise the red flag..
It's done.. No more turning back. What had happened..
Has been done.. And now and forever .. I'm gone..
