My love will never die

by Morning dew

I loved you because you are God’s gift to me.

When you were made, from you I was made.

I loved you when one became two,

and two unite to become one.

I loved you before time revealed your face.

I loved you from miles away, when tiles were laid.

When files were made and smiles were fake.

When new lovers meet and false love fades.

I loved you when sadness raids and happiness rains.

When smile beams and teeth restricted.

When cheeks inflated and sadness deflated.

Eternity may be unpromising, but my love will never die.
