My Love

by Theresa Eyrich
(Murfreesboro, TN, USA)

Our eyes met with just a passing glance,
I felt you peer into my depths,
Your gaze searching my secrets,
Your touch burned into my soul,
Seared to my core, our lips caressed, touching and tasting,
Both feeding our need, my soul became entwined in yours,
Only to please you, to love you,
My heart aches for its missing piece,
To be complete, to be one with my love,
The one who is truly the better half of me,
My love, take me in your heart as you do your arms,
Take me and make me yours,
Love and cherish me as i shall always do you,
Never can another have my heart,
For it is you who holds the key
