My Story

In a time of darkness she was sent to be there,
To lighten my path with friendship she could spare.

She rescued my heart from emotional distress.
She held my hand on the walk back to happiness.

She helped me build my heart's foundation, through a small and simple friendly relation.

She put the feeling inside my smile again, by staying with me and calling me her friend.

I grew to love her from day to day,
After each passing sunset, in a more amazing way.

From our friendship my feelings came, that sparked off our love's eternal flame.

She gave a new meaning to the word 'love',
Through all of the reasons mentioned above.
