Mysterious Land

by Zen Lai
(Malaysia)

We Used To Come And Play,
By The River You See,
But Now That The River’s Dark We Have
No Clue What Lurks,
ROAR!
The storm rages on blowing away the wood,
Crash!
The Big Huge Trees Crash On To The Wet Sand,
Sinking Deep Into The Ground,
Many Ran For Their Lives But I Stayed,
SPLASH SPLASH,
The Waves Splashed,
Boom!
The Gigantic Statue Falls Down Breaking
My Hut,
The River Was Zeus Punishing His Warriors,
Whoosh….
The Storm Had Calmed
The Sky Became Clear,
Chirp Chirp,
Go The Birds,
The Rivers Looks Crystal Clear And
Can See The Pebbles,
And All Was Well.
