Nearly There

by LUCY
(Portishead)

In every beginning,
there must be an ending.
And not all happy endings,
end happy...

It’s only in fairy tales,
dreams can come true.
However hard you try to change the future,
it won’t work...

Argument after argument,
it piles up into depression.
And then you’re stuck,
in a world full of hatred...

But in the end,
it gets too much.
And then you know you’re nearly there...
