I can never give up on us
Because of the way it felt when our skin used to touch
I miss those times when we used to laugh
About the silliest little things that made us clap
I don’t believe that you and I are over forever
And this is not me just trying to be clever
I speak to Our Heavenly Father every day and night
To please let us reunite
I know you love me just as much as I love you
I know it’s hard but what you believe about me is untrue
I know you need your space
And to me you can never be replaced
So I will sit here waiting for the joy of my life
To return to me and be my wife
