No begining...No end...

by Lisa Lynn Tucker
(lisalisalynn@yahoo.com)

Digging, digging deep in the earth,
my hands don't wear gloves

Over head it turns dark,
while the tree limbs continue to fall

Try as I might the roots never end,
with each foot the stories continue to begin

It melds the truth between reality
and fiction

The sky turns into the earth,
the earth is the sky

Drip drip drip the rain pours,
the world turns to mud

I think the ending says it all, that it's goes around and comes back to the beginning - if that makes sense.

Love the line "with each foot the stories continue to begin"
It seems like it could continue... prematurely finished?
