We can't change
it
or make it different,
than
what it was,
we can only change,
what we become,
because of it,

We choose to be
stronger,
for their weakness,

we become gentler
because we know,
what it's like to hurt,

we can choose to be
compassionate
because we know
what it is to be lost,
we can love ourselves
because we know
what it is
to be hated and feared,
we can be more than
we
ever dreamed of,

because we live,

and we love anyway.
