NOT ALONE

NOT ALONE

Are we wrong to believe we are not alone?
To believe there are others all around
Though we haven’t seen them they exist
An unseen feeling a blip or shadow passing.
Energy bursting all around us unaware
Unexplainable events that cross our paths
A flash of light that crosses the night sky
They themselves wonder why we are here
Wondering if we were worth saving
Looking upon us in their adornment
From a distance in the dark we-them
Continue to wonder, wonder if.
