OLDER NOW

OLDER NOW

Now that we are older come with me
Let us start a new life simple and free
Come let’s watch the sun set at night
And wake with me to see another light.

We can go away together and drive afar
In deserts night we can wish upon a star
You and me alone at last without a care
Time to reap our rewards it’s only fair.

Come with me and be my true love
Forever you have been my morning dove
The smell of your skin like jasmine
You’re more beautiful than I can imagine.

As nature bestows upon us her song
Together we have been lovers life long
Though time goes quickly from our life
I’m forever grateful to have you as my wife.

Great Verse
by: McCollonough Ceili

I can't help but think of my great uncle who found love again after his wife of 40+ years had died. I am so thankful that you posted this piece.
