Only one chair
That is why it is unoccupied
I make believe there are two
Like the sweet bye and bye

Moving on is not easy....
Nor is it just sitting alone
Thinking in the moment now
Realizing no sense to moan

Life is what it is, like it or not
One moment at a time I say
Depends on how one thinks
Thinking is a game I play

I make it what I want it to be
So all my days are exciting
I look forward to everyday
And everyday I do some writing

To share with all who read about
The fun world I create myself
Tips and tricks included you'll find
Upon my, ever so crowded, poetry shelf.

Thank you, Eve.
What a nice comment. I must now look up your poetry. If I can't find it I will be contacting MYWORDWIZARD and pestering them on helping me find you.

Blessing to you and yours from Ohio.

Only One

I have read some of your other poems and they always pull at my heart-strings, perhaps because we are at similar points in our lives and have had some similar experiences. I really love the photo with this poem--so fitting! Well done!
