Our Love

by Jacob
(USA)

Awkward silences
Fleeting smiles, hands brushing for moments

Whispered confessions
Glancing around, is anybody looking?

Teasing remarks
Giggling and snorting, looking like fools

Gentle breezes
Sunlight streaming down, perfect picnic

Heartbeats
Dinner by candle-light, blushes

Fingers entwined
Walking home in the misty morning, giddy

Stolen kisses
No longer uncomfortable, just happy

Close together
Comfortable in our own skins, joyous

Our love
Won't ever die, my dear
