Our Mum

by Jill Sharpes
(Turkey)

The times we had together,
were times of joy and fun,
like dancing in the kitchen
and singing with you mum,
you always made us happy
whenever you were near,
the pain and hurt you must have felt,
and yet you shed no tear,
and now you've climbed the stairway
to heaven up above,
you'll never walk alone mum you,
surrounded by our love.
