Pain

by The Raven's Death Angel
(Hiding Within Darkness Of Pain)

She walks through the halls everyday,
She see's the pain they hide away.

Slowly she walks along this narrow path,
Humming a song of a love once had.

She dresses in black everyday,
Hoping it hides her pain away.

Still as she walks along this path,
Her past slowly starts to come back.

She quickens her pace now,
As her heart starts to race.

So many mistakes,
She just can't erase.

She turns the corner,
Now she's face to face,

With her long lost lover,
That made the mistake,

Of taking the knife,
Taking the strike straight for her heart.

Everyday she prayed that hopefully one day,
Her pain will finally fade away.
