Playing Love

by Luis Ullán
(Salamanca (Spain))

We found on the wall of glory
broken pieces, memories on fire;
locked feelings without saviour,
buried down on the basement,
as our lips talked of eternity,

Our steps were threatened,
turning desires into simple words
yelling "please, hate us no more!"
to a deaf, almighty God
that didn't even pray for us.

We ended hanged from our hearts
like two kids playing love,
trying to reach the stars
and breathing together no more.
