Poem of cheer

by Sonia Parbhakar
(Kent, UK)

The cheer bear
Comes along and tears
down
The dull plain wallpaper
Revealing your ornateness.

You are complex and
also simple.
Thinking to the max
with a smile revealing a dimple.

The years sometimes bring a few tears
as we learn to conquer our fears.

The cheer bear sends flags of decoration,
so you can join life's celebrations.
