It was perfect when we first spoke
On that long summer's night
Something felt real,
Something felt right
From then on,
I have not looked back,
I have kept away from fear

Today I stand here,
I stand here proud
I believe in everything we have
And all that can be
You have become that special someone,
Who is there with me through highs and lows,
Who understands what is within my soul

I want you to know
That there is a place in my heart
Where you can always stay,
Where you can seek comfort,
Where you can find happiness,
Where you can feel love

So this Valentine's Day
Let us say a prayer
Let us thank God
That we have found each other
Let us continue
To share this beautiful life
and more of those summer nights
Because this feels real,
Because this feels right.
