Rebellion

by Meaghan Moore
(Belleville, Ontario, Canada )

Step into the powerful mind
Of the gracious eternal nightmare
That takes what you find
Into our own madness fair

But once you come in this world
You can never return back
To the place you came unfurled
And open in your first days beneath the black

Is there a purpose to this?
Why am I in this place?
How can I go back, Miss?
Am I able to leave the base

Those questions you're about to be asking
You can't ask them because you are
About to become my evil darling
Forever be mine, my beautiful star

Once again, do you really love me so?
It's too late to ask for concerns
Let's begin our wonderful show
In the rebellion of my own returns
