Seasons

by Robert C. Waters
(Middleburg, Fl. United States)

As weary summers surrender and autumns prevail.
The majestic transference of teeming to diminished.
As the cold invades anticipations prolifically swell.
Awaiting an explosion lustered and florally finished.
Within each blossom luminance springs forth.
Life returns in a burst of fragrant energy.
No more feathers flock eagerly north.
All giving way to time and earthly synergy.
