SECRET PLACE

by Dr. Rick McGrath, Ph.D.
(Modesto, CA)

A tapestry of sun rays lighting the way
Moving water cool and begging to stay
Over and around the bend a quite trace
Seeking and finding my secret place

Enthralled my woes flee in solace
Shade of hope, nature flawless
Taken by verdant trees embraced
The bothers of the world erased.

Take my love, take my hand
Take me where I can not stand
Creation given me by divinity
Sweet, sweet peace my serenity.
