Shades

by Caroline Slee
(California)

It comes in blues
Not grays – as the books might say
My emotion
My faces
The moods that make
Me –
Cerulean joy
Celestial calm
Royal in bliss
And slate in sorrow –
A shade of blue
For each nuance
For each whispered moment
Every vibe or shadowy aura
Speaks to me in blue –
Until the silences
Carry their own pulse
A northern light
Of all those shades
Drifting through my dreams…

My moods come in colors too. Although not always varying shades of one color. :)

LOVED IT
by: Karin

My youngest son prescribes colors to his days
Glad to know there are great minds in this world that can see what he sees
What a beautifully expressive piece
