Silence

by Naty

Silence

The way the air lingers, calm but not motionless
The feeling when you're all alone in an empty house,
nothing but you
You feel the presence of someone, something
It's the dead steady sound that is completely quiet
The howling wind in your heart that you can only hear

Silence

The sound of silence
by: Jan de Wandelaer

One table, two men
amidst hectic moves of wait...
like oysters left closed

Is a busy mind really alone?
The mind is anthologies home.
Treasure the silence of the day.
Write the story of life's way.

Written words pass through time.
Someone may read and treasure a line.
Leave for others, wisdom contentment brings.
There are real enjoys in simple things.
