Slander

by T. Chikichikari
( Ohio, U.S.A.)

I've been bashed and trashed and thrown away, only to be given a second chance at destroying my enemies- I use a fine toothed comb to sift through the madness as I envision my adversaries being swiftly punished- My heart is hurting and my soul aches, for the love I once had that cannot be replaced- No better love can I ever have- Except the one that got away- He believed them over me because I refused to accept his wretched ways- So he played the victim and I was the whore- The one who did the unthinkable and let "him" step through the threshold of my door- I didn't play a game, nor did I win or lose- However, slander is one of my last resorts so now he will forever have the blues.
