Song of the Wandering Swordsman

by Lily Grey
(USA)

I'm a wandering swordsman
My sword hangs at my side
I've been everywhere
And the whole world defied

And my only companions
Are the song that I sing
And my sword which crowns me
A wandering King.

I'm a wandering swordsman
And I shed no tears
I challenge the world
I fight my own fears

And my only companions
Are this song I sing
And my sword which crowns me
A wandering King.

I'm a wandering swordsman
Dare you challenge me?
I'll fight to the death
I'll always be free

And my only companions
Are this song I sing
And my sword which crowns me
A wandering King.

I'm a wandering swordsman
I live life alone
I patch my own wounds
I have near nothing to own

And my only companions
Are this song I sing
And my sword which crowns me
A wandering King.

I'm a wandering swordsman
Here our paths part
May the wind rise to meet you
May the sun kiss your heart

And my only companions
Are this song I sing
And my sword which crowns me
A wandering King.
