Spring

by Erich Douglas - Lenk
(Pasco, Washington)

The trees are as tall as skyscrapers,
The pools are as blue as the ocean,
The fruit is as big as dinner plates,
The buds are growing fast like a hare,
And the raspberries are glowing like rubies.

I love your poem. Its simple but easy to picture. My only suggestion is that you make an ending scentence that sums up what the poem is about. Overall, it was simple and unique.
