by Andrew Grant
(Lincolnshire, England)

I had a dream
Of friends and future friendships,
Love and future loves;
Of all the trivia of the life I loved;
And even sorrow.

I had a dream
I'd live for a hundred years.
Look at me now-
I walk tall before a nation,
And I forgive you.
