Sunrise

As the sun comes up,
The light streams over the sky,
The world watches,
To see it rise high

The colours of a sunrise,
Yellow, orange, red,
The elegant glow as I wake
Is what gets me out of bed

The beauty of a sunrise,
A sight that cannot be missed,
That's why I woke early to see,
I just couldn't resist
