The Bay

by Jeff G.
(Sydney NSW Australia)

As the fiery red sun burns the jagged rocky coastline,
the dry dusty wind whips a low lying tree.
While the seagulls sing songs that sit on the breeze,
the lively blue waves leave the wild rough sea.
Yet a shadowy figure trudges tracks through the sand,
with a look of joy spread across his aged face.
For the rolling sand hills glaring out of the sea mist
make the bay a truly beautiful place.
