When we question the Bible
We may ask is it reliable
Is it actually sacred
Truly God's inspired word.

Many people aren't too sure
It's no longer quite as popular
17% have a negative attitude
Opinions are distant and rude.

88% of Americans are Bible owners
Down from 92% in previous years
And Americans are less apt to believe
Scriptures are relevant and tend to grieve.

Yet internal evidences often reassure
Lasting faith of the believer
The real question that appears
What document has endured for 2,000 years??
