The Effect of Darkness

I was told once
that life would be a perfect fairy tale
But that was wrong
that's the farthest thing from
how life is
and now...I've been consumed by darkness
it has covered me and I'm falling
falling down a hole of nothingness
I've been falling so long that now I can't see the light
everything is black
all I see is darkness and despair.
In my world love doesn't exist, it's merely a word
with no emotion to it
I used to be...a child of light
absorbed by the warmth, by the lights glow
but now...now I'm lost
now I've become what i feared most
nothing
all of this...all of this is because of what you did.
What you did to me destroyed me
and turned me into this.
And for that i hate you
I hate everything about you
your smile
your eyes
your laugh
everything i loved in you
makes me hate you
