The Hard Road

by Wil Ewing
(HALIFAX)

If home is where the heart lies,
Then where is mine?
At times it sleeps in my chest,
At others, it rages war with my mind
Sometimes..

If a body is where the soul hides,
What can it expect to find?
It wanders,
I wish to another it would bind
Sometimes..

My feet are heavy,
But they take me forward,
My mind is weak,
But I ache for more,
Sometimes..

What's lost,
I'll not find here,
Keep moving,
Til I crush my fears

Sometime.
