THE IMAGE OF SELF

by Dr. Rick McGrath, Ph.D.
(Modesto)

THE IMAGE OF SELF.

I cast eyes upon my inner self
There I found my essence true
Casting eyes upon my outer self
There I found an emptiness too.

Our inward music is rarely heard
Yet we find the way to make dance
The outward music sounds heard
Creating a false circumstance.

In time the veil is pulled back
Inner and outer being converge
The essence of your presence back
Your real self will always emerge.
