The Lie

by Rachel
(North Somerset, England)

What is the pain that hurts you the most?
The blade stabbing that kills your heart
The one in which you feel alone and full of hate
The one which takes you by fate

I know that pain its called a lie
The lie of love and passion
The lie of friends and family
The lie of life itself

No matter what you believe
No matter what country you're from
or what language you speak
This pain will hit you sometime in your life

So now you know the pain that hurts most
The blade stabbing pain which leaves you to rot
The one that pulls darkness inside you
