The Little Girl Who Dances in the Rain

by Jake Tremblay
(Lancaster, PA)

I once met a flower
And that flower was a name
A name of whom, a little girl
That dances in the rain

Soon Flower found sunshine,
And soon she bloomed in full
But when Flower lost her sunshine
The girl had lost control

And when it started raining
That flower did not dance
Her pedals started fading
The girl had lost her chance

This world is unforgiving
This world we call our home
You say its life your living
Cause life is all you know

And maybe we're all crazy
Or maybe we're all sane
And maybe we're the little girl
Who dances in the rain.
