You gave me the look,
I could see it in your eyes,
I could then tell,
You were different from all of the other guys.

Then we started to talk,
And I knew right from the start,
That you were someone special,
And you stole my heart.

When I'm with you I'm happy,
Not like I was in the past,
I know how important this is to me,
And I want to make it last.

So thank you for coming into my life,
And for making me whole again,
Now I can truly say,
You are my best friend.
