The Lost Father

by Judy Floyd
(Myrtle Beach)

My Father is lost and I dream of him so
I lost my father ten years from here
My Father was kind my Father was warm
But for now my Father is lost
He has swept the love from the heart I held dear
So now I have no heartfelt way to share
He has kept his love to himself and now I have none to share
My faith has gone to be with him forever dear
My father is lost
I dream of him to be near him the most
